When I decided to set up a website, I wanted images that were evocative of experience. But I didn't want images "of" someone. I found what I was looking for when I discovered images that conveyed real emotions in surreal places that, somehow, made the feelings all the more palpable and universal. Though the images suggest a man, I find the experiences they depict genderless.
Tracing the black and white images to their source I found Tommy Ingberg in Stockholm, Sweden and wrote him a note. I described what I would like to do with a few of his images and he has been kind enough to allow me to use some of them here. Those I have chosen are just a small sample of what is a growing body of his award-winning creations.
He'd like it if I told you where to find his work. Please visit his site at http://www.ingberg.com
All other photographs on the site are my own.
